BRENDA & ELLIS, since winning the 1999 Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase, has
performed at over 1,000 private events and clubs across the U.S., and toured Alaska,
Europe and the Caribbean.

They are active songwriters, and are both members of ASCAP.  They have their own
publishing company, Breli, and record company, Natasha Records.

BRENDA was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. She grew up listening to every kind of
music, but her favorite was always the blues.  She also loves to sing jazz, pop, rock,
rhythm and blues, and country.  No matter what the style, Brenda truly delivers each
song, reaching into her soul to let you experience what she is feeling.

ELLIS was also born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He began playing professionally when he
was 17.  He has toured with the B.J. Thomas band, and performed with Larry Davis,
Jimmy Reed, Freddie King, Albert King, Billy Joe Royal, the Vogues, Jay and the
Americans, and David Ruffin of the Temptations.  Ellis  founded his own groups, the
Right Track (which signed with Atlantic Records) and The House (which signed with
Liberty Records).

BRENDA & ELLIS first joined musically in Houston, Texas, basing their group out of
Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Little Rock.
In Los Angeles, they were the musical opener for Joan Rivers’ comedy act at The Horn,
as well as performing at the Troubadour, Madame Wong’s, and Studio One.

In Palm Springs, they were part of a long-running rock ‘n roll show at the Americana
Canyon Hotel, featuring the Del Vikings, Little Dion, Bobby Day (of “Rocking Robin”
fame), and The Hollywood Flames.

Brenda & Ellis were named  First Runner Up as the Best Local Band in Arkansas.

Brenda & Ellis's first CD was “Down by the River”, released in 2000.

Their second CD, "We Done Paid Our Dues", was released in 2004.

Brenda & Ellis's Christmas CD, "Light Up Our Christmas Tree" was
released in 2007.

Brenda & Ellis's song, "She Doesn't Know Me Anymore" was released in 2010.

Our Christmas song, "Don't Cha Love the Holiday Season" was released online to CD
Baby, Amazon, iTunes, and many other online sites the last week of October 2010.

Our fourth CD, "Passion, Pride & Joy" was released on November 13, 2010 at our CD
Release Party at the After Thought.  We had a wonderful turnout, sold a whole bunch of
CDs, and a great time was had by all!

Our fifth CD, "Flying Down to Rio - And Back" was released in August 2016, right
before the 2016 Rio Olympics, and is available on Amazon, iTunes and a multitude of
other sites.

Ellis Tharp's first solo CD release, "Take My Hand" was also released in August 2016,
and is available on Amazon and iTunes as well as a host of other sites.

We are currently working on tracks for our sixth CD, to be released in 2018. As of this
writing, in March 2018, Brenda & Ellis are (are or is, that is the question - this kind of
grammar problem always messes with my head!) writing and recording songs,
traveling, performing and having a blast!

On March 9, 2018, we released an advance cut from our upcoming CD. The name of
the track is "Seriously
?", and it's about our Cheeto-in-Chief. You can find it on iTunes,
Amazon, YouTube, Rhapsody, Spotify, Deezer, and about 30 other download and
streaming sites. Go to your favorite site and check it out!

Thanks to all of our fans, friends and family for supporting us over the past 19 years!
We love you all!
